Select the item you want to add from the side bar navigation menu then simply follow the on screen step by step instructions.

For example, to add a book influence select addinfluence from the side bar menu then select book.

Then enter your information into the form noting that fields marked with a '*' are mandatory to enable searching by other members.

Complete an extract from the book if you have a particular favourite part. Then add in a comment or your review of the book. Then perhaps most important of all, tell others the reason you submitted the book, why it's influential to you. Next, just for fun, add any interesting information or trivia you know about the book or author that others may not.

Then finally click 'save to profile' and you're done. You can be as detailed or as simple as you like, but the more insightful you are the more likely you are to find a like mind.

You can view the influences, skills and favourites you've saved at anytime by selecting the item you want to see from the side bar navigation menu. You can edit and delete information by clicking the links at the bottom of the item being viewed.

As well as capturing all the things that you've found influential or inspiring in your profile, your homepage will also help other members to understand more about who you are. Your homepage and your account details are stored in the myaccount tab.
