Andy: I've always had a thing for old sailing boats (clippers and racing yachts). I painted a version of a Beken print that I had which started out as a sketch. When I finished, my Dad got it framed for me, and it still hangs in my study. It was the first painting I did that was framed, and I can remember going back to look at it so many times because of the thrill I got from seein something I painted finished in that way.
