Dar: When I was 16 and entered the 6th form to do A Levels with the view of going to University - I didn't know what to do. Being the youngest of 4 boys, my brothers all had engineering apprenterships - I was lost, I was the first of my Fathers sons to go into further education and was obviously gay in his eyes!!!
Huw Lloyd Hughes was my A level Biology teacher and he realised my problem and showed me the way forward quite simply. On his wall he had a poster of two seagulls flying and wriiten above it was "They can, because they think they can".
Once I realised that I can do anything, the sky was the limit!
