Dar: Just arrived at work and spent 20mins looking at this painting on my wall (sadly not the original!!) - what great way to start the working day!!!

Dar: This painting is from 1919 and looks like a collaboration of many paintings in one. As I sit and look at the detail and admire a great piece of work, I cannot begin to imagine what was going through Kandinsky's mind while he was creating such work - pity he is not a member of Find Like Minds.........

Dar: In 1911 together with German painter Franz Marc, Kandinsky founded Der Blaue Reiter (The Blue Rider), an association of Expressionist Artists formed to "destroy boundaries between different forms of art". This proved t6o be the key to the developmentof German Expressionism!
